Frequently Asked Questions

General

How does Patch Tracker work?

Patch Tracker helps you monitor your insulin usage by manually tracking each dose. It provides visual indicators and alerts to help you stay on top of your insulin supply.

How to connect the app to the device?

This app doesn't connect directly to your insulin device. It serves as an independent tracking companion to help you monitor usage alongside your insulin patch (like Cequr Simplicity).

Is my data stored or synced online?

All data is stored locally on your iPhone or iPad. You are the only one with access to your information.

Where can I learn more about the patch?

For more information consult the manufacturer's website:

Tracking

How precise is the tracking?

The app allows you to track the pushes given (1 push = 2 Units) or track the insulin directly.

What if I forget to log a dose or make a mistake?

You can log the missed dose or fix it later, but for best accuracy, log doses immediately after administering them. The app will be as accurate as your logging.

Does the app sync with Apple Health?

Yes! Patch Tracker integrates with Apple Health to automatically sync your insulin doses. This keeps all your health data in one place and makes it easier to share with your healthcare team.

Notifications

What alerts does the app provide?

Patch Tracker can notify you when insulin available is low and when it's time to replace your patch. You can enable or disable these in Settings.

Why am I not receiving notifications?

Check Settings → Notifications on your iPhone or iPad to ensure alerts are allowed. Also verify that alerts are enabled within the app.

Developer

Who is behind this app?
